First off, feel sorry for Phil. This guy comes up with great topics, puts up with my inane references and audio fiddling, and all he gets to see of the show before it goes out is the black lid of my laptop.
I mention this because, yet again, there’s an episode of In Pod Form in the digital lurch. It’s on the hard drive of my ThinkPad, but the power cord to that laptop started acting funny Thursday, then sparked out and died Friday afternoon, which is about the most inopportune time for equipment to die, Amazon-wise. The five-year-old laptop lacks the battery power to make it through the usual hour-plus editing process, and I’m somewhat afraid to power it on and see if it survived the cord-break power flux. But I’ll give it a go.
All that is to say that I’m working on getting the latest episode out, but it’s going to take some doing. In the meantime, there are, I am told, other great podcasts out there. Audio Buffalo is where our friends and local co-conspirators are doing their thing. Also? Coverville has an episode of nothing but Huey Lewis covers, and it is quite the listen.
